Day 2 [Venice]
Yesterday we arrived in Venice and checked into the hotel. Then we took an elevator to the top of the bell tower and looked at the Duomo. Today we went to the Doge's palace and saw the armoury. We saw a piece of armour for a horses head with a single Spike and Mom said that the horse would say,"I'm a fancy unicorn!" and than head but someone. There was a prison too. It just proves that people used to be much shorter because Dad's head was touching the roof. Then we went to the Rialto Bridge and at lunch I tried some smoked swordfish. Next we went to a ship museum. After that we got lost and I bout a blank mask to paint when I get home. Jack got a glass pig. Soon we are going on a gondola ride.

Day 2 [Rome]
Sorry I have not written lately, but I did not have internet in Tuscany and I was to lazy to write yesterday. Today we went to the Forum and rented an audio guide. It was boiling this morning. After the Forum we ate and went to the Colosseum. There was a sieres of passage ways that used to be covered by the floor and were used for many things during and before, and after the battles as well as drains that kept the field dry. Part of the floor remained, but much of the inside of the Colosseum has worn away.Below are the entries I did not get a chance to make because of internet problems.
Day 1 [Rome]
Today we drove to Rome. Our hotel room balcony over looks the Pantheon. We had lunch and galoto while waiting for it to stop raining. After lunch it was still pouring rain but we went to the Pantheon anyway. Jack kept getting water in his eye because he was looking up at the huge hole in the roof. After that we spent allot of time in the room. The internet is in the lounge, but it's in another building. Pretty annoying although it's pretty close and better than no internet at all so it's not to bad.
Day 4 [Tuscany]
Today it was pouring rain. Dad thought we should just drive until we find sun but Unfortunately we would have to leave Italy for that. So instead we drove to Siana because Mom wanted to go. First we checked out the Duomo and ate lunch. Then we waited in a very long line for an hour and a half to climb a tower that was 400 steps so we could find where we parked the car. Went we found the car we drove to San Gimignano to go to the torcher museum.
Day 3 [Tuscany]
Today we went to San Gimignano and I bought a bow and arrows and Jack got a crossbow. After that we went to a museum and climbed another tower. Than we waited for what felt like forever to go to the bath room. Later we had a cooking class and made a yummy three course meal of spaghetti, followed by meatballs and Terimasu for dessert. We also made some excellent bread.
Day 2 [Tuscany]
This morning breakfast was the terrible pastry our hotel had to offer. Then we went to Pisa and had lunch. We went to the Duomo and then climbed the leaning tower of Pisa. The tower's lean is just as noticeable from the inside as it is on the out and to be truthful I really did not like being on the top because I'm scarred of heights. We were going to swim at the beach but it stated to rain so we did not.
Day 1 [Tuscany]
Today we rented a car on the edge of Venice and drove to Tuscany. During the drive Dad kept turning sharply to hit Jack with the suitcase. We stopped to have lunch and got back on the road. We finally got to the small town that holds or hotel and walked around a bit. later we drove to San Gimignano for galoto.

Day 4 [Florence]
Today we slept in late. We ate and went to the Uffizi museum followed by the Galleria dell' Accademia. After that my feet were killing me, but somehow Jack acted like he had just had a bottle of coke and convinced Mom and Dad we needed to climb the Duomo. It took like an hour and I was exhausted, but we finally got back to the apartment. Then we had dinner and played Risk. That's about it for today.

Day 2 [Florence]
This morning was pretty basic. We woke up, ate, etc., than hopped a train to Florence. It took approximately 1 and a half hours. When we arrived we took a taxi to our room. I am sharing a room with Jack upstairs. Our room does not cover the whole space so we can see the TV from the railing which would be great if there was actually an English channel. Anyway, after that we had lunch and more gelato. Than we went to the Duomo and climed 414 stairs at the Campanile, the bell tower next to it. Me and Jack were exausted and desperately climbed the four flights of stairs to our apartment and than even more to get up to our beds. After that we lied down and lost most of the ability to move our leggs until a marching band came down the street.

Day 1 [Rome]
This morning Me, Mom, Dad and Jack woke up at about 11am. We walked around a bit in the hot sun and had a quick, small breakfast on the go. We stood on the crowded Spanish Steps. Soon after it was a delicous lunch of caesar salad. It was boiling and felt like hours but we finally found the Trevi Fountain. I tossed a coin in so I would return to Rome someday even though I'm coming back in a week and a bit. Then we wonder around for a bit looking for the best gelato place in Rome which was named in Mom's book, but gave up and settled for the next gelato place we saw which was amazingly delicous. Later we rented a car type thing that fits for but you have to pedal to move for an hour and practically flew down the hill. I'm not kidding, we were practically in the air. Just a few minutes ago I lost my tooth. Anyway now I'm writing this while I wait for 7:30 to come along so we can eat dinner. Tomorrow we hop a train to Florence. :)
